The Onya bag is so-called because it’s always ‘onya’. The bags were created by Australian Joe Brousson, who realised that the only way to encourage people to use fewer carrier bags is to make sure they always have a reusable bag with them. Remembering to take bags to the supermarket for the weekly shop is one thing, but what about all those spur-of-the-moment trips, the top-up shopping on the way home from work, or quick trip to the shops at lunchtime?
Made from parachute material, the Onya bags stuff into their own small pouch which can be attached via the small carabiner clip to a wallet, handbag or key ring, or simply carried in your pocket. The bags are strong and spacious, and comfortable to carry, even when full.
Make sure yours is always ‘onya’ and you’ll never need a plastic carrier again!
